Rising Stars is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit offering equine therapeutic riding and equine assisted therapy to children and adults with disabilities throughout south central Idaho.

Rising Stars is a small program with a Big Dream. The program is entering its 6th year, with the hope of being able to provide continued service to children and adults throughout the Magic Valley in the future. During 2013 we were able to offer hippotherapy services through Primary Therapy Source, and Horizon Therapy Services as well as offering therapeutic riding or adaptive riding programs. The Rising Stars Therapeutic Riding Center is a cooperative effort between the Porath and Dickard families, the owner of Primary Therapy Source, Jan Yingst, a couple of enthusiastic Physical and Occupational therapists at Primary Therapy Source, and several dedicated and committed volunteers.
