Founded in 1995, Riverwood is a 501 (c)(3) charitable corporation serving 90 individuals weekly.

We are a PATH Intl. (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International) Premier Accredited center with eight nationally certified instructors and a physical therapist registered at the intermediate level with PATH Intl. and AHA (American Hippotherapy Association).

Riverwood Therapeutic Riding Center provides quality, professional equine assisted activities for children and adults with special needs. Equine assisted activities help to improve muscle tone, balance, posture, coordination and motor development.
