Our medical staff is made up of over 120 specialists, representing 28 pediatric subspecialties treating both medical and surgical needs. We offer the area’s only pediatric intensive care, psychiatry, hematology and oncology programs, as well as specialized emergency/trauma care for children with emergent medical needs. Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital is a dedicated pediatric hospital within Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center, a non-profit facility established by the Sisters of Providence in 1886.
