We are proud to serve the health care needs of our friends and neighbors in the close-knit community of Sitka, Alaska since 1956! Despite the small size and isolation of our community, we offer a full range of health care services including general medical care, surgery, 24/7 emergency room, laboratory, radiology, rehabilitative services, outpatient clinic, home health, infusion therapy, visiting specialists and long term care. Sitka Community Hospital has four major service divisions, each of which has several departments and services. There are also a number of specialized programs and services. 

Rehab Services – Rehabilitation services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy for inpatients, home health patients, and residents of Long Term Care. Outpatient services are offered through Oceanside Therapy Center, a spacious facility across the street from the hospital, overlooking the harbor.

Mountainside Family Healthcare is a provider-based medical clinic and an outpatient department of Sitka Community Hospital. Our provider mix includes Family Practice and Internal Medicine Physicians, as well as Advanced Nurse Practitioners, all of whom are able to provide office based medical care for children and adults of all ages.

Below you will find a research library to tens of thousands of health sources where you may read and examine health topics of interest to you.
