Sonrisas Therapeutic Riding
Sonrisas means smiles in Spanish. But the literal translation does not do our name justice. In truth, the connotation of Sonrisas is the joyful, blissful, giggly smile that is seen, and sometimes heard, on toddlers when they have accomplished something new & exciting.
Sonrisas is a secular, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. We were created in 1983 as a project of the Junior League. Since 1987, we have become incorporated, elected a Board of Directors consisting of thirty active local leaders, built an extensive permanent facility, and trained and employed professional instructors.
