Sopris Therapy Services (STS) is a non-profit organization that provides Equine Assisted Therapy and rehabilitation in a ranch setting to children and adults with various disabilities.  STS has touched the lives of patients and clients in the Roaring Fork Valley since 1994.  Our special programs include Hippotherapy, Therapeutic Riding, traditional Physical Therapy (in our new PT clinic), children’s summer camps, and Disabled Veterans Programs.
Our unique and professional team includes a licensed Physical Therapist, EAGALA certified Mental Heath professional, equine specialists, experienced riding instructors for all levels including PATH Intl. certified instructors, well trained therapy horses and enthusiastic volunteers!
STS is conveniently located with in Aspen Equestrian Center, a spectacular equine boarding and training facility in Carbondale, Colorado.  STS utilizes two indoor arenas (one with a functional wheelchair mounting ramp), an outdoor arena, riding trails, ADA handicapped accessible restrooms, and an observation/viewing room for parents.
