Pediatric Therapy
Southern Indiana Rehab Hospital provides outpatient physical, occupational and speech therapy along with psychological services to pediatric and adolescent (ages birth to 18) patients. SIRH therapists providing pediatric treatment are highly skilled and experienced in working with developmental challenges, which may range from orthopedic and sports related injury, to genetic and prenatal related diagnoses, such as Cerebral palsy or Down Syndrome.
SIRH therapists recognize and address the special challenges associated with childhood, mentally as well as physically. Pediatric therapies at SIRH are not adult treatment applied to children. Treatment methods vary based upon different diagnoses and the fact that children are learning, growing, and developing. While pediatric services may be provided at the primary hospital location, our Pediatric Therapy Clinic (formerly Bridgepoint) located in Clarksville is dedicated to pediatric treatment.
