Special Education Service Agency
The Special Education Service Agency (SESA) provides consultation and training to support the unique educational needs of individuals and the Alaskan communities that serve them. The Special Education Service Agency (SESA) provides assistance to Alaskan school districts and early intervention programs serving students with low incidence disabilities. SESA is publicly funded by the State of Alaska Department of Education and Early Development.
In order for SESA to consult with teams about specific students, a referral must be made. The SESA Referral Packet contains all the necessary forms to be filled out for SESA services to begin.
