St. Mary's County Health Department is the lead agency for the St. Mary's County Infants and Toddlers Program, an interagency program developed to assist families in finding help for their children with special needs.  The program is a family-centered system of early intervention services for children from birth to age 3 with developmental delays and disabilities.  Other agencies that support the program are:

St. Mary's County Department of Social Services and St. Mary's County Public Schools. Bottom of FormSt. Mary's County Health Department offers a safety-net transportation service for county residents eligible for medical assistance.  Transportation to and from medical appointments is provided. Transportation assistance options include: Public Bus, Gas Vouchers, Ambulance Services, Health Department Vehicle.
