"Pediatric Rehab refers to the rehabilitation of children from birth to 18 years of age with neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions, Autism, developmental delays or sensory-integration dysfunction. Therapist receive special training to access a wide variety of problems such as muscle weakness, muscle tightness, balance, coordination issues, fine and gross motor skills and more. These issues must be addressed in the form of play, as is age appropriate, to ensure the child's cooperation and interest.
Language and Speech Therapy benefit children who need to improve their forms of communication. Our Speech Therapists can also help children transition from G-tube feeding to oral feeding.
Summit Pediatric Therapies provides physical and occupational therapy in a school setting in order to help children achieve their maximum level of function on the playground and classroom."
