Summit Stage offers year-round Paratransit service to residents and visitors. Paratransit service is available to anyone with a disability to travel anywhere within Summit County. To obtain transportation on the Paratransit System, please call 970-389-1041 or 970-668-0999 at least 24 hours before transportation is needed. Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. The Summit Stage has a Paratransit van, five mid-size, and twelve full-size buses equipped with wheelchair lifts. Each vehicle can accommodate two wheelchairs. The van has additional seating for four. The Paratransit van provides door-to-door service and requires a reservation. Most fixed-route buses can accommodate wheelchairs. However, guests requiring wheelchair access should contact the Summit Stage to verify an accessible bus will be in service.
