Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities
"The Council believes that everyone should be able to choose where they live and who lives with them, work at a regular job with competitive pay, go to their neighborhood school with other students their own age, and have opportunities to play and have social interactions with friends they choose. This includes the 452,620 475,265 people with developmental disabilities in the state of Texas.
TCDD is committed to creating change so that each individual is able to enjoy these rights, and to be fully included in their own communities and exercise control over their own lives."
