The Abilities Fund is the first nationwide nonprofit community developer and financial institution focused exclusively on expanding entrepreneurial opportunities, including access to capital, for people with disabilities.  We do this by providing a unique combination of financial products, training, technical assistance services and advisory supports to individuals with disabilities.

The Abilities Fund has a number of programs and services available to entrepreneurs, many that are open to any individual in the US with a disability. Other programs and services are available based upon your location, gender, or other factors established by our funders. Please check each program for specific eligibility guidelines.

Business Loans for Iowans with Disabilities

The Abilities Fund has partnered with The Iowa Able Foundation to offer flexible loans to Iowans with disabilities for the purpose of starting or expanding a business. Loan requests of $500 to $10,000 are eligible for consideration. Loans for Assistive Technology
