The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh’s Pediatric Specialty Hospital was founded in 1984 as a 28-bed acute care hospital as licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, serving children from birth to age 21.  With specialized infant and pediatric services, our hospital offers a transitional setting or “bridge” between the hospital and home for infants, children and their families.

Child's Way Day Care – Child’s Way is a day care for children with special medical needs ages birth to age 21 who may also be technology dependent. Our expert staff of pediatric registered nurses and child care associates provides children with consistent medical care while incorporating educational, developmental, therapies and play activities into their daily schedule.
