Owner and operator Jodi is an ASHA board certified, licensed speech language pathologist with a masters degree in Speech Pathology. She has worked in otolaryngologist offices, hospitals, schools, early intervention and outpatient facilities. She has experience working with those who have Apraxia, language deficits, Articulation disorders, tongue thrusting difficulties as well as those diagnosed with Nonverbal Learning Disorders, ADD, ADHD, Fragile X and Downs Syndrome. Cognitive Behavioral therapy has been a focus as well as pragmatic Language Disorders. Jodi was the former founder and operator of Interactive Kids and has a background in behavior analysis. With her training, Jodi has extensive experience working with children on the Autistic spectrum including those with PDD-NOS (Pervasive Developmental Disorder- Not Otherwise Specified) and Aspergers.
 

Previously, she worked with several districts as an Autism Specialist in Burlington County and now operates as an Autism Specialist in Atlantic County NJ. She was recognized as "Professional of the Year" from The Good Looking Foundation, a foundation supporting children with ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorders)and was recognized as a candidate to receive a Health Care Hero award from NJBIZ.
 

Jodi's "Communication Station" has been featured on Channel 6 for her SOS feeding program and has been featured as a national speaker through Lorman Education Series. Experience also includes; speaking at various parent support groups, training parents to work with their children and training professional staff and support staff. She also provided seminars for; Tri-county Speech -Language Hearing Association, JCC in Cherry Hill N.J and FACES in Atlantic County.
