The Neurosciences Institute at Albany Med is the only hospital in the region that provides pediatric neurology services. A full spectrum of pediatric neurosurgical and neurological disorders are managed at the Children’s Hospital at Albany Med. Specially trained neurologists and neurosurgeons have expertise in diagnosing and treating disorders of the nervous system in children, which comprise their sole area of concentration. Many of our specialists also have subspecialty expertise in a specific area such as epilepsy, muscle disease, headache and movement disorders.
