DDOT has restructured its Senior Citizens, Special Fares Disabled and ADA Para transit (Detroit MetroLift) ridership programs into a combined, more efficiently managed Special Services Program. The restructured program allows DDOT to better evaluate the needs of all applicants in order to ensure applicants are provided access to the transportation service that best meets their specific need.
