TRINITY MOTHER FRANCES Hospitals and Clinics – Respite Care Program
The Trinity Mother Frances Respite Care Program is funded through a grant with the Department of State Health Services, Children Special Health Care Needs program. The Respite program is sponsored by Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals and Clinics.
Saturday Respite
The Saturday Respite Program provides specialized care to children who have a special health care need in a center based setting. The children experience the warm, loving, fun environment provided by the specialized trained Respite Care staff. LVN nurses on staff provide medical care.

Respite Care Center – Tyler, Texas
- Offered 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the third Saturday of each month
- Available to families of children with special needs ages 3 months to 18 years who reside in the family’s home
- Application is required
- Must have a reservation
Respite Care Center – Mineola, Texas
- Offered 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the second Saturday of each month
- Available to families of children with special needs ages 3 months to 18 years who reside in the family’s home
- Services are free
- Application is required
In-Home Respite
- Assistance in finding and training a Respite Care provider
- A more flexible option to Respite Care
- 48 hours of respite care at no cost to the family
- Application is required
