UCP is a nonprofit organization, has advocated for children and adults with cerebral palsy and other disabilities since its incorporation and charter began with United Cerebral Palsy Associations in 1954. United Cerebral Palsy provides community-based, integrated, individualized, multi-faceted services to persons with cerebral palsy and like disorders. Through an aggressive public relations program, UCP establishes effective communication and education links with service providers and community at large. Through aggressive fund development, UCP provides financial stability with minimal reliance on state funding.
