United Cerebral Palsy of the Inland Empire
United Cerebral Palsy of the Inland Empire is a 501 (c) (3) organization incorporated in 1985. United Cerebral Palsy of the Inland Empire (UCPIE) is an affiliate of over 60 United Cerebral Palsy organizations providing services to people with developmental disabilities beyond cerebral palsy throughout the United States of America.
UCPIE provides programs and services in the Inland Empire (Riverside and San Bernardino counties). It is UCPIE’s mission to advance the independence, productivity and full citizenship of people with disabilities. Services provided are for individuals diagnosed with cerebral palsy, autism, Down’s syndrome, epilepsy, and intellectual delay.
Services Include:
Respite – United Cerebral Palsy In-Home Respite Care provides support to over 200 families, which enhances the growth and development of your special needs family member. In home Respite Care is a service offered to individuals with disabilities throughout the Inland Empire. United Cerebral Palsy sends a qualified, pre-screened Respite Caregiver to homes to care for special needs individuals. Caregivers are certified in CPR & First Aid.
After School Programs – The Skill Builder’s after-school and summer programs help program participants develop and improve five vital skill areas
Resource & Referral Services
Team Freedon – Team Freedom’s goal is to participate in one of the biggest non-competitive cycling events in the United States, the Tour de Palm Springs. Team Freedom members walk and ride the one mile leg of the tour.
