United Cerebral Palsy of Minnesota
United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of Minnesota got its start in 1953 by a group of parents looking for a better life for their children affected by cerebral palsy.
UCP of Minnesota is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving the residents of Minnesota in all counties except Stearns, Benton and Sherburne counties. These counties receive services from UCP of Central Minnesota.
The focus of UCP of Minnesota is information and referral, providing augmentative and alternative communication devices through our MATLN Program (Minnesota Assistive Technology Loan Network), public policy and advocacy and providing education for people with cerebral palsy and their families.
UCP of Minnesota is proud to provide grants to purchase assistive technology for Minnesota residents with cerebral palsy (children and adults) to improve independence and quality of daily living. Grants may be offered up to $500.
UCP of Minnesota is a proud member of Community Health Charities Minnesota (CHCM) through workplace giving. CHCM is an alliance of leading nonprofit health research and service organizations whose mission is to improve lives affected by chronic illness by investing in health research, services and education
