University of Iowa Children’s Hospital is committed to creating a “system of care” for children, connecting families with specialty services, family resources, community providers, support services, and electronic medical records. Our goal is to collaborate with local providers to improve the health of children and families at home, in school, and in the community.

UI Children’s Hospital is pleased to provide pediatric specialty consultations and follow-up care throughout the state. In addition, UI Children’s Hospital helps coordinate care for children with chronic diseases with other health care providers and service agencies. These partnerships lead to better health outcomes and lower medical costs.
