University of Michigan Pediatric NeuroRehabilitation Clinic
The Pediatric NeuroRehabilitation Program is a part of the University of Michigan Health System’s comprehensive program in neuro-rehabilitation. The program is dedicated to treating children, teens, and their families to promote recovery from and adaptation to changes resulting from brain injury or significant neurological disease.
The Pediatric NeuroRehabilitation Program, MedRehab Milestones, provides comprehensive assessment and treatment of children/adolescents who have neuromuscular disorders requiring a multi-disciplinary approach. The interdisciplinary team includes:
- Occupational Therapy
- Physical Therapy
- Psychology/Neuropsychology
- Rehabilitation Counseling/Case Management
- Speech-Language Pathology
- Therapeutic Recreation
- Therapeutic School
A program focus includes facilitating return to school, with appropriate support services.
