Virgin Islands Resource Center for Disabled (VIRCD) is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization designed to meet the informational, instructional, vocational and adaptive technological needs of persons with disabilities. It is the Center's firm belief that "persons who have a disability" are endowed with all the rights and privileges needed to maximize their physical, mental, social, and spiritual potential for leading rich and productive lives in our community.

Offers  accessible services for individuals with disabilities ages 5 – 65+.

Services Include:

  • Computer Training for Empowerment – Program offers training in basic computer skills and use of asssistive adaptive technology
  • Adult Literacy Program – Provides clients with literacy and GED preparatory classes
  • Arts & Technology Summer Camp – Offers children the chance to become acquainted with technology in a variety of ways. Camp includes arts, academic classes, music, computer, crafts and a violence prevention program
  • Arts & Technology After-School Program – serves students between the ages of 5-17 in areas of homework tutorial, arts and crafts and computer technology
