   VSA Nevada provides opportunities to experience art for ALL people of ALL abilities.  This includes workshops in schools, hospitals, after-school settings, VA facilities and a year-round open-to-the-public workshop and camp program at affordable rates. 

VSA Nevada’s mission focuses on providing arts opportunities for ALL Nevadans with quality arts education for children, youth, and adults.
    VSA Nevada is a non-profit (501c3) organization established in 1986.  Our EIN is 94-3030518.
    Annually, approximately 3,000 art workshops and camps for children and adults are conducted throughout the state in schools, hospitals, nursing homes, after-school programs, and additional locations.
    VSA Nevada  owns and operates the historic Lake Mansion located near downtown Reno.  VSA Nevada is responsible for its thoughful preservation and year-round use as a cultural and  historic site.  The mansion houses VSA Nevada administrarive offices, the “Art Happens Here” studio and the ” Art Access Gallery“.  The adjacent Garden Pavilion is an enclosed temperature controlled space. Both the Lake Mansion and Garden Pavilion may be rented for your meeting or special event at very affodable rates.   

Programs Include:

Art workshops/camps for kids (ages 3 – 14) at the Lake Mansion in Reno, Alf Sorensen Community Center in Sparks and after-school art workshops at Caughlin Ranch, Double Diamond, Huffaker, Hunsberger, Jesse Hall and Van Gorder Elementary Schools.   100% scholarships are offered based on need.
VSA Nevada’s free “Youth Art Month Festival” in March and the “Lake Mansion Jingles with Art and History” for the winter with hands-on art workshops, face painting, tours of the mansion and more.
