The Washoe Tribe Head Start program has two locations; Dresslerville Community and Stewart Community. Dresslerville serves 36 children in two classrooms. One of those classrooms features the Washoe Language Immersion Program.

In the Stewart community there are three classrooms serving 54 children.
The program is available to children ages 3 (by September 30) and 4 who reside in Douglas County or Carson County. Breakfast and Lunch are served . Parents can become involved through the Policy Council and the Center Parent Committee. Parent workshops are offered and parent volunteers are WELCOME.
