"WeCAHR, Western Connecticut Association for Human Rights, Inc. is a non-profit organization committed to helping children and adults with disabilities live as safe, independent and productive a life as possible. WeCAHR serves 10 towns in the Greater Danbury area.

WeCAHR is an advocacy organization. We advocate for the civil and human rights of people with disabilities. We work to create and promote personal success, independence and community involvement for children and adults with disabilities.

WeCAHR advocated on behalf of the residents of Southbury Training School for over 15 years.
