Wendell Foster’s Campus for Developmental Disabilities – Kentucky
Wendell Foster's Campus For Developmental Disabilities is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. The mission that guides the organization states that Wendell Foster's Campus is an organization which provides individualized supports therapy, and training that empowers individuals with cerebral palsy, mental retardation, and other developmental disabilities to realize their dreams and potential. Offers a full array of nursing, dietary, therapeutic and education supports.
Wendell Foster's Campus is one of the premier facilities in the State of Kentucky support people with Cerebral Palsy and other developmental disabilities.
Respite care services are available for families when emergencies arise or a well-deserved break is needed. Families interested in these services can contact Wendell Foster's Campus for more details.
Sensory Park and Garden:
The Sensory Park & Garden at Wendell Foster’s Campus is the area’s only universally-accessible outdoor landscape designed specifically for children and adults with disabilities. This 1.7 acre park is a community gathering spot where all children of all ability levels can play together. The park is FREE to all and open to the public during daylight hours.
