Adaptive Recreation Early Childhood – The WAWM Recreation Department offers a wide variety of programs for children from birth to 7 years old. Take a look at our Youth page for more programs & activities.
Sports & Movement: Some of our offerings include:
Teeny Tumblers: Children work with their parent to develop gross motor skills such as balance and coordination, and learn simple tumbling techniques.
Sports of Sorts: Introduce your child to the basic skills of different sports in a fun environment. Hands-on drills, games, and music!
Big Moves for Little Bodies: Designed to keep your child busy and moving! Activities focus on large motor skill fun.
Tumbleweeds: Perfecting the tumbling techniques.
Start Smart Sports: Designed to prepare children (ages 3-5) for organized sports, without the threat of competition or fear of getting hurt.
Aquatics Youth
After-School Action (formerly SAFE/REACH) – Elementary After School Program
We want your kids to have fun! WA-WM Recreation & Community Services Dept. offers Afterschool Programs located at most elementary schools. Action 330 runs Monday – Friday when school is in session, from the end of the school day until 5:30 pm.
