Having a child with special health care needs can feel like a long journey, filled with lots of barriers and challenges along the road to finding help for your family. You are not alone. Wherever you are on that journey, we are here to provide a “map” with directions that takes you where you want and need to go. The Western Regional CYSHCN Center is located at the Chippewa County Courthouse, Room 222 serving these counties: Barron, Buffalo, Burnett, Chippewa, Clark, Douglas, Dunn, Eau Claire, Jackson, La Crosse, Monroe, Pepin, Pierce, Polk, Rusk, St. Croix, Trempealeau, and Washburn. The Western Regional CYSHCN Center is dedicated to meeting families’ needs through a statewide coordinated system of information, referral and follow-up, parent to parent support, and service coordination through local public health departments and other community agencies.
