Founded in 1967 by parents who sought to establish an innovative program for their children. As a component of the Massachusetts public school system, WRSD follows the academic plan established in the Massachusetts Curriculum Framework as well as the mandatory MCAS (Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System schedule.)
