From the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Willis-Knighton South to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at WK Pierremont Health Center, the hospital-based services provide a high level of technology combined with competent, caring staff.
Pediatricians on or near Willis-Knighton campuses provide the first line of care for youngsters. It is supplemented by specialty care from some of the region’s leading physicians at The Children’s Hospital at LSU Health Sciences Center. In addition to physician care, specially-trained pediatric therapists at Willis-Knighton provide outpatient services for youngsters who need assistance with developmental issues. These include physical, occupational and speech therapists as well as feeding specialists.
