Wish-A-Fish Foundation, Inc – MARYLAND
The Wish-A-Fish Foundation organizes children’s fishing days throughout the year and we call them Wish-A-Fish events. We focus on families that have children with “special needs” such as a life-threatening illness, physical or learning disability, but we try to take the entire family out and make everyone in family feel special. Each “special child” (including brothers and sisters) participating receives a FREE t-shirt and together all the family then spends a day of fun and fishing on the water
The Wish-A-Fish Foundation's mission is to provide a little relief for a family from the daily stress of having a child with “special needs” such as a life-threatening illness, or a mental or physical disability, by taking the entire family out for a day of fun and fishing on the water.
