CAMC Women and Children's Hospital is home to the region's largest and busiest Level III (highest level) neonatal intensive care unit and level I (highest level) pediatric intensive care unit. The pediatric physicians, many of whom are faculty of West Virginia University-Charleston Division, provide consultation and care in more than 30 specialties including adolescent medicine, allergy and immunology, cardiology, critical care medicine, endocrinology, gastroenterology, hematology/oncology, infectious disease, neonatal-perinatal medicine, nephrology, neurology, pulmonary medicine and surgery. High-tech, maternal-fetal medicine and gynecologic cancer services are also offered.
