The mission of the Wyoming Schools Association is to ensure the highest levels of student achievement for all students by providing visionary leadership and high-quality services to school districts. Our goals for 2008 – 2012 are to advocate for quality schools and for high achievement for all students; to assist districts to develop leadership for improved student achievement for all students; to provide training that supports behaviors that lead to improved student achievement for all students; to support public policies that promote high achievement for all students; to advocate for local control of schools and schooling; to be proactive in advocating for control of the variables that promote improved student achievement and a quality education for all students; to advocate for kids and families to be involved in their education; to build a coalition of education entities; to enhance communications within and between the member districts, the association and external stakeholders. We will strive to support increased collaboration and foster mutual support and respect for differences within the member districts in an effort to move forward educational needs and issues from a united and unified association.
