YMCA Camp Ok-W-Nessett

Camp Ok-Wa-Nessett serves children daily through a variety of traditional, specialty and sports programs. Y camp leaders are committed to creating a strong sense of community, helping campers to challenge themselves, develop self-confidence, lasting friendships and FUN in a safe environment. Camp Ok-Wa-Nessett has 117 acres with hiking trails, high and low ropes course, two ponds, spraypark, sports field, two archery ranges, basketball, and tennis courts, playground equipment, covered pavilions for rainy days, skatepark and so much more!! If you are a Rhode Islander age 60 and are the primary caregiver of a child, we can help you send that child to camp this summer. Through a grant from the RI Department of Elderly Affairs, the YMCA is able to offer camperships to enable youth to attend YMCA summer day camp and school vacation camp.
